How much loss in detail is there when comparing an H.264 compressed HD video recording to the original?
I’m a videophile when it comes to High Definition TV, and I keep seeing devices that when hooked up to a computer, can record HD video in compressed H.264 format. I would prefer NO compression because the first thing that goes out the window is the fine details. Can H.264 give me perfect digital reproduction without ANY noticeable loss in HD picture quality?
